I've seen the map and photos online now - looks pretty barren but with some interesting contours?

Well done!!! Looks super scenic judging by the photos! :)

Thanks both of you! Was quite barren, but still lovely -unfortunately we didn't see the springs, the one bit of water on the course. The scenery was reminiscent of the painting you gave me Jenny. This did make for easier navigation - eg 'let's head to that hill the control is behind it' there were very few trees to obscure the view. There were some subtle creeks and we did have to drop a 30 when we had drifted on flattish ground in the last hour and there wasn't time to correct.
I did feel very sorry for Mark he obviously felt very unwell.

I encountered Mark (with a carload of Venturers in tow, on their way back from hiking @Wilpena) while getting coffee at Maggie's Rendezvous in Orroroo today - he is still very much alive and looking forward to the next rogaine :)

Did they have a good trip? Glad to hear he is fully recovered.

Apparently it was too wet and slippery for them to make it all the way up Mt Abrupt!

That's a shame for them although the rain was needed! You did a great time today Jenny by the way - hope you were pleased? You were moving when I saw you.
