Charles, anyone that didn't go missed out on a fantastic course. I've picked and chosen my urban races this year as I am trying to avoid aggravating an achilles tendonitis that has bothered me since Clevedon last year. But wasn't going to miss one if you were planning and you did not disappoint! 9-10 on the green course was exactly what Urban orienteering should be about!
Congratulations and thanks!
Tommi - 9-10 - you only say that cos you beat me on that leg! :-)
Agree great course but we're getting some corkers on this series so far......
Thanks for the feedback. The 2017 race went south through the commons and had few streets, this one whilst using the same infrastructure was intended to be really quite different. You could take the view that its just a modern estate and they are all the same and its true that none will rival parts of an historic city centre, but this one is quite interesting and the extensive traffic calming is good news. I have gradually formed a view that if you go back to areas you tend to get similar courses/ experiences so its better to leave them fallow for a while. With Bradley Stoke there is some overlap and first set of courses felt a bit repetitive so have produced a different set and it will be interesting to have feedback.
