We wanted to go further, but that narrow part of the Huron combined with the unbelievably high water, we just couldn't muscle through--trust me we tried. And, the other side of the dam was a wash tub and I worried that we wouldn't be able to approach upstream there either.
We did a turtle rescue on Huron River Drive also.
And, with the distance to the put in, it was definitely a JayXC approved farmers carry of my old circa 198? Glasto Craft canoe, the one and only SS Fragile Flower. Tried to convince Richard he could load it himself, but would prefer a demo from you first.
