I want to buy an O' suit for my friend Rosemary, who is an average sized 8.6 year old, as a Christmas present.

Anyone want to sell me a used one? Or know where I can buy one for less than $75?

OK, I'm reactivating this topic in case the moms and dads out there were too busy parenting to check attackpoint on Sunday or Monday.

If you can find used, great. If not, unless shipping has been really expensive and I just haven't noticed, you can get new o-pants and top within that budget from Letro Sport AB. Add o-socks or gaiters and it looks like you'll be pushed at least slightly over budget though.

Thanks. I went to their website and found pants starting at size 1 for 180 SEK, and tops starting at size 3 for 378 SEK.

Do you know if size 1 is what I want? (Their size chart begins at size 3, which they say is XS.)

Can you suggest any other sources for small tops?

Sorry, my bad for not being thorough enough to verify availability of appropriate sizes. It looks as though you could also do this within budget at The Compass Point in the UK with a pair of Silva Montana o-pants and a colour-coordinated Silva Eclipse top, the former being available in size 1 and 2 (intended for 8 and 10 year olds, respectively) but the latter only in size 1. Or they appear to have stock of a Trimtex top the appropriate size for a 10 year old. There's a detailed sizing chart for Silva at the top of the page (http://www.compasspoint-online.co.uk/acatalog/Club...). Hopefully, Trimtex has the equivalent somewhere easy to find online.

Sorry to be pointing you to Europe rather than North American vendors but Gale's site seems to be inaccessible, Bermans don't run a full e-commerce site, etc. - verifying prices at Letro Sport and The Compass Point was quicker. I also looked at Ultrasport's site but they didn't seem to have any tops at the moment.

I have Iolanthe's old O-suit which needs a new home but I fear it may be to big. She was very tall for her age and wore it as F9-F12. I will try to remember to check it tonight.

Jon, thanks for all the info! I just ordered a set from The Compass Point. Tim, thanks for offering to check Iolanthe's O-suit but I am sure it will be to big for Rosemary. Of course I could always hold on to it for the future.
