that was a really fun outing. Rudy, you looked strong, tough conditions. and your age group was the deepest. Good run.
And thanks for getting me to sign up for the 800 at 2:40pm in the afternoon, and then bagging on me! kidding, sort of. :) It only cost me a visit to the med tent to rehydrate and cool down.
And two awesome restaurants: Nourish and Main Squeeze, yum. Let's do it again next year and I'll be 20 lb lighter and 30 sec faster. Or . . . give "Golden Man" Steve a run for the money in the sprints.
right on. now if we could just catch a cold front? interesting factoid - you ran your 800 just a few clicks slower than my 800 pace run w Billy. If thats not inspiring
I dont know what is.
except my 800 was all out "balls to the wall" . . . so much that I needed medical attention afterwards, haha! But I did like it. one lap, cruise control. one lap, all out. easy-peezy, not to much strategy. of course, I tied up badly in the final 100, but that could be worked out with training and fresh legs, ie. not having run a 1500 3 hrs earlier. bh
What does the "74 d 42 h" designations mean?
degrees, humidity. so boring.
