I hear you on the screens. I hot desk at work (well I'm meant to). Spent an hour talking to our IT guy downloading all sorts of drivers to try get screens work and eventually his advice was to unplug it, leave it 5 minutes and see if it worked....it didn't.
Actually the first bit of advice all the web experts offer is to make sure it's plugged in correctly. They are. Only thing is, when I previously had multiple screens I also had a docking station that the laptop sat on whereas now I have this thing that plugs into the USB port but is meant to do the same thing. I'm just going to blame Windows 10.
