Interesting read! I didn’t envy you guys out in that heat and humidity. Way to recover though as the race continued. So hard to keep your head it in after rough sections. As usual we were happy to have the TrailVets represented!

Glad you were able to spare the chipmunk! Brent got attacked by some sort of grouse in Garcelon. Some small but mighty animals out there :)

Yeah, they don't see many humans in those Garcelon woods...
