I've just bought a pair of Speedgoat 2s to replace/interchange with my Mafate 4s, which are great but a bit too hard for non-trail use. The Goats feel lighter and are definitely more nimble, plus a bit more forgiving on harder surfaces if required from time to time, but the box feels smaller than on the Mafates, despite their being a half size bigger. I do have wide feet. Definitely worth making sure that the individual shoes fit your feet, even with Hokas - there is some variance in fit.
Great result at the WLDMRC!
