Sounds sensible, even down at my level travel fatigue plays a role in performance in short to medium term but is all too easy to forget about when you want to do a race!
Thanks, a lot of it is the travelling. If it were an hour away, I would have a different view, but I think the travelling takes as much out of you as the racing. Also, I think running well last weekend shifted the balance. The track season was about gaining confidence in my physical shape and I have less to gain now because last weekend gave me such a boost in that regard.
