Why don’t you look around more and get 2nd opinions etc.
Better yet see doctors overseas who are not so American.

Well according to the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I think doctors today are so concerned about malpractice, that they overprescribe, so they don't have to answer a litigant's question "Why didn't you......." Better to do everything they can think of, and let the patient deal with the side-effects.
I had a pelvic CAT scan last month. The guy this morning wanted another next month. Really?
So many books and stories about this issue. yes, get several opinions and ask a lot of questions. Mis-diagnosis and overkill seem to abound.
