Got it in one - I had never heard of the Relief of Vienna. But I came across a statue of the Ukranian Cossacks, commemorating their involvement as part of the Lithianian-Polish Commonwealth which liberated Vienna from the Turks.
Hmmm. The Ukrainians are definitely well-traveled. We found a Ukrainian memorial among the unit plaques at a WWII cemetery on our way from Florence to Bologna, Italy (via orienteering, of course)...on my list of things to learn more about. Interesting!
