Logging extra hours at work so you can take leave when you're better.
Plus it's winter, it's way better to be injured now than in the middle of summer.
Retire. Give up now. Watch TV. Eat lots of food and get fat.....

Don't listen to that crazy Tane. It will get better! At least it's happened in winter (at least that's what I'm telling myself as I'm trapped on the couch under a crying poppet and a cat with far too sharp claws).
