Its amazing how many people seem to be going that way. One of my old co-workers at USAA has been up that way...right before you. One of the old (81) farmers from Warren, Ok took trailer up there and unfortunately was in some sort of accident...not hurt but vehicle/trailer problems now. One of my cousins from California (Edmond originally) is planning a trip to Green River, not sure if UT or Wy or both.
Did you go by Custer battlefield? Not that you are a big fan of his but still 'Custers Last Stand' is still a historic event. I want to see the area where John Wayne did a lot of his good cowboy and calvary movies with all the iconic rock formations. You probably were not near that area but still it's 'out west' for me right now.
