Congratulations on all your races! It's great that both you and Glen got to experience running in an A final, too!!

Thanks, Maryann. :-) I think I would have been satisfied with "top half" in any of them (maybe a bit higher in the middle which I find I do relatively well in), but was surprised that my A qualification was for the sprint! I know Glen was happy to make an A final.

Yes, I thought that the middle was your favorite event. But maybe those midweek sprints you've been running did the trick!

What a large number of participants! Glad you both enjoyed it. It was fun to watch your events!

Glen mentioned that (about the sprints) too. They certainly help as interval workouts (which I don't otherwise do), even though they are woods sprints rather than city terrain.

When competing against Americans I tend to have slower times in sprints (relatively). I do enjoying the navigational challenges of a sprint, though.

I enjoyed sprints from the first one I did, even though I was pretty awful at them!
