Norway is beautiful. I had my 40th birthday there - my present was hiring a car and driving to a fjord.
Can't wait to hear about it. I enjoyed your Denmark travels. :)
Yay! Have a wonderful time! Oh, you are so making me wish we'd managed to work WMOC and O-Ringen and another trip to Norway into this summer...next year, I hope.
Cristina, what do I want to do with one whole morning in Oslo (on Thursday, before I fly home that afternoon)? Got any nearly-3-year-olds I can play with? :)
I know a nearly-3-year-old whose school is closed this week and is in need of a lot of energy-burning activities!
Since you have one whole morning and will have already seen a lot of spectacular Norwegian nature I recommend visiting Vigeland Park for some sculpture ogling and seflies, followed by a dip in the Oslofjord from one of the many available swimming areas of the city (primarily Sørenga or Tjuvholmen, Huk or Paradisbukta on Bygdøy if you have a bit more time). Some combination of us should be available to join you, depending a bit on how well we're doing in cleaning out our apartment. :-)
Jenny Vigeland Park is brilliant - loved it.
Good idea. I'll get my chauffeur to contact Lukas' moms to ask whether he's allowed to come on a play date with me!
