Discussion: US Senior National Team Additions and Promotion

Following the spring orienteering season, the Selection Committee (Kristin Hall, Tori Campbell, Eric Weyman, Patrick Nuss, and Peggy Dickison) looked at results and training, and have added two athletes to the National Team.
Alison Crocker (CROC), returning to the team following the birth of her daughter last year, cleaned up at the Team Trials. She is added to the Elite Team.
Michael Laraia (MNOC), made the WOC Team two years ago but declined his position because it conflicted with the start of college. Now a college sophomore, he’s figured out how to balance studying with training, and had some impressive runs at Team Trials. He is added to the Development Team.
We also have promoted one athlete.
Tori Borish (BAOC/COC) has shown determination and dedication in her training, which has shown in her results. A sprint specialist, Tori is especially excited to run the Sprint at WOC. Tori is promoted from the Performance Team to the Elite Team.
