Looks like an insurmountable lead provided you show up for the last event.

Actually, it's best four out of six, so I can't add much to my total at the last event. And given how long these races are (they're designed to keep the Blue runners happy), how sore I've been after them, and how close the last one is to the WY meet, I'm not planning to run that entire race, so my point total won't change.

On the other hand, Francois and Riley only have three scores, so if either of them shows up at that race, they will easily get ahead of me. Tapio and Tak might do so as well. So my lead won't last, but I'm enjoying having it for now :)

DVOA's summer sprints series gives you points based on how many people you beat. Glen is currently leading having been to most of the events. Time isn't considered at all.

The Summer Series comes down to Riley vs Francois. If only one shows up at Bayfront he will be the winner. If both show up at Bayfront the real excitement begins. The one with the most points at Bayfront will win. Since Riley seems to be living in Santa Barbara this summer, it may be that Francois will win the series for the 2nd straight year. Very suspicious since he designs and administers the scoring system. :-)
