Haven't heard much from the US WOC team. Am I following the wrong social media?
We're here! Team all arrived at our hotel in Riga yesterday (except for Amanda who will join later for the forest races). Today we'll get accredited, go to the sprint model and (before 3pm) wander some of the legal roads within the embargoed areas for the sprint qual and model.
Team members are listed here
; most of them have Attackpoint logs. I haven't seen anything new on the blog or their Facebook page.
Sprint qualifications and finals are Saturday in Latvia.
has always been on attackpoint, but for some reason it looks like not any more, or has deleted his logs (or my access)! i used to like his logs... maybe they're keeping their last minute training super super secret :)
Go team! Go USA! Hope it goes well for everyone.
I'm still logging, bartholemeu. I decided to make my log private after several cases in which what I wrote was misinterpreted.
But I certainly want my log to continue to be enjoyed by the majority of AP users. So I'll add you to the list. Anyone else who'd like to be on the list, don't be shy to send me an email!
Good luck to the whole team I'll do my best to cheer you on (even if the flag we're waving is Swedish).
Hope you survive walking around Riga in this hot and muggy weather.
Canadian WOC team is good to go for Sprint Q's tomorrow! Riga is hot!
Indeed it is, although the humidity has dropped significantly in the last few hours.
Good luck to all - we are cheering for you! Thanks to Julia and Tyra for keeping the junior blog going through WOC - https://usajuniororienteering.wordpress.com/2018/0...
"Be one with the forest."
Fun 404 message in Andrea's link. If that doesn't work, try this one:
Start List for Sprint Q's
We've managed to revive the log. See it here: https://usa-orienteering.blogspot.com/2018/08/woc-...
Be ready for pictures!
