offers so many varied experiences. I used to get an occasional dip in Lake Michigan commuting home during hot Chicago summers mid-70s. Or racing the trolley on Boston's Comm Ave commuting to Tufts from Chestnut Hill reservoir parking. How could I forget the commute Newtonville to Mt Auburn Hospital Jan 2, 1976, 2F crystal clear NW calm. No need to look for a shower that day (!) but as a lowly med student, I made myself small in surgeons' locker rooms where ever. NHH home was my last stretch, 6mi, second half on quiet roads.

The Lamprey is actually away from my commute. But I am working from home these days, so I could call it a work break. Yes I am having fun between berrying, running and swimming. It recharges the "work battery".
