The IOF was probably encouraged to see that you guys have finally figured out how to have a real summer.

I still can’t quite believe it. I was absolutely convinced that Paris was a shoe-in because of the Olympics connection...

The decision about new sports for the Olympics in 2024 will be made in 2019, so a 2022 WOC serves no purpose there.

Swampfox - summer indeed. We also have air for the athletes to use.

I noticed on golf telecasts that Carnoustie (the Open, next to an O map?) and Gullane (Scottish Open, "on" one of Graeme's maps) were even browner than normal. The positive implications of this didn't occur to me, until Swampfox's post.

I think congratulations are in order for the chutzpah of nominating for this task, as well as for the nomination success.
