Downhilll only race sounds interesting (were I not now mince down hill - relatively speaking of course) - mass start of TT?

Yes THE Peter G. I knew he was fit but was still a bit surprised. It's a TT thankfully, there are 3 of them as a sort of series in central belt Scotland. Never been able to make one though. I really want someone to introduce enduro running. You have to do lots of nice uphill/transitional running but only the downhill counts.

Hahaha enduro running is a genious idea. Def keen to organise one of them. Not so accurate but can be done via Strava: http://www.matesrace.co.uk/

I have been 'surprised' by Peter G on the long ploddy climbs of Jura but short sharp races is a new string to his bow.

Also you should try some bofra and show races, the grand tour of mental descender. Some of the stories of Ted Mason going downhill. And it turns out Ted Ferguson is even more mental.
