TheInvisibleLog: You'd have to top his magic barb at Minchin. All night Nick was refusing to concede. When Howard had done so, he changed topic to the Senate and claimed they may still keep their majority. Before he had finished the sentence, in chirped Antony to inform Nick that they would lose a Senate seat in SA, and thus their majority. And it would go to the Greens on Liberal preferences. That shut him up good and proper. My magic moment for the night. If I can work out how to edit the recording, I may post it.

candyman: I personally enjoyed when Minchin claimed no swing to Labor in Bennelong after the first retirement village polling station result was in (less than 1% of the vote) Antony quietly pulled up the results from the same polling booth in the last election and showed a 10% swing to Labor..... and then pointed out that it was silly to make any such statements on unrepresentatively small smaples.
