Back painful?! Can you find a pilates course to go to or some one who can work with you on your deep stomach muscles and hip/butt muscle activation?

Maybe? I'm going to try to do more strength and stretching myself to see if that helps first.

I've started doing some heavy lifting recently for problems with my hips and glutes activation and I feel like my body is starting to get in some form of alignment and strong for the first time ever. On Sunday there's a friskis Temapass called tunga lyft with an instructor called Martin who is really good at teaching form and stuff. Maybe it could be helpful for you too?

I've always wondered about those classes, but been too nervous to ever sign up for them :) I know nothing about lifting weights! But maybe I should try it.

Do it! I also knew nothing about lifting weights and it was really great to reveal exactly where my (extraordinary!) weaknesses were and be able to work on them and see improvements. I need to continue now that I've moved, maybe we should pinky swear to both do them...

I definitely wouldn't be nervous about them. You're pretty strong and most of the people who have been there at the same time are as weak as/weaker than me. Plus he definitely puts more of an emphasis on the form than getting to your max weight. I'm also available if you just wanted to go to the gym :)
