In these supposed days of fast paced information technology you'd think they'd let you know about scheduling changes via email but we only found out our scheduled train ride from Copenhagen to Sweden had been cancelled (the service now departed from Malmo in Sweden) and yet despite booking online, we didn't find out until we got to the train station and asked someone.

Speaking of border control, customs in Australia are about slack as ever. Our flight last night landed at 6:20pm and we were home by 7:30pm after getting off the plane, collecting baggage and finding a Maxi-Taxi. The customs guy merely asked if our wheels were clean and didn't even ask to see them!

Ketchikan was where I met the most difficult airport security person I have ever encountered. She took great exception to my dip bag and accompanying paperwork, particularly when I insisted she could not put through the X-Ray. So I got taken to one side and had all the rest of my luggage searched, plus ........
