Hank and Nana probably had as much fun as you did :) - with less sweat.

Congrats, Hermes! As always, you rocked it. And so did Hank and Nana.

Work4J - I was so happy to be out there! Lots of logistics to make it happen but we did it!

@coach - they did!! African Lion safari, icecream, learning to ‘dance’ all the fun he could handle!

Thanks bash - we missed you! FB great catch up!

How was the poison ivy? I haven’t done the latest version of the course.

I let all the fast folks soak up all the PI... and ticks... before I got there :-)

Negative on ticks and PI although today would be the likely coming out party for the latter.

Nice transitions Hermes! :-)

Really, there's no PI on the course anymore? Or there's just no PI on you? :) The Lion's Head trail run used to be pretty thick with it.

The course doesn’t go near Lions Head anymore. There was quite a bit on the run legs and a portion of the course was re-routed to get around a larger patch apparently.

That's the portion where Bash would have wandered off course. She's drawn to it. :-)

It’s not too hard to stay out of PI trouble while trail running at this time of year, as long as you can scrub up within a few hours of touching it. It’s cleaning the bike and associated gear that is a pain and often hard to do properly until you get home, which means your car gets PI in it too. A friend of mine missed a couple weeks of work after changing a bike tire with PI on it. He held it between his legs as he worked on it. ‘Nuff said!
