You've had a long and quality season. There's no harm in having a week of lower miles and enjoying yourself. You've got a whole winter of sun to bash out the miles in!

yep I was going to say similar. You can't be on it 365 days a year. It's easy to forget this (I often do)

Yeah you're both completely right, I think it's just feeling a little guilty post Aviemore and wanting to get back a nice routine. I'll ease the miles down a touch but try and get back in to a rhythm

Yep just the guilty feeling, been having it for the past few weeks. But no point flogging it, likewise little point in half-resting (I'm a master at that). Ease off the miles but maybe slacken the pace a bit as well, it'll give the body a chance to reset.

You're right ba-ba yeah. Not worrying about pace is definitely something I need to work on a bit more, got a bit stat happy recently and it's not good for training at this time of year

I've set my watch so I can only see run time, lap time and time of day. No pace read-outs, and I normally stick with the time of day so I'm not entirely sure how long I've been out or on a certain section - but still have the data to look at after.
