Was there a cooldown after this?

Not really, some slow jogging after I had stopped the watch but nothing really. I walked home if that counts.

It sounds like you struggled a bit with motivation on this workout, so it's difficult to ask you to run more, but even a 5-10 minute jog is enough to help your legs come back faster for the next run.

It seems like things are going well overall since you've started the fall racing. How are you feeling?

The motivation wasn't exactly low, I felt it was the dog's behavior that made me a little annoyed over the course of the training. I'll remember to include a short jog after trainings and races.

Things have been going very well since coming back, I've had some good training and some solid races. I'm feeling very motivated recently, it's still a challenge to get out of the house, but it's been easier. I've also started doing more running to "fill in" the gaps between training on maps. I think doing more runs has helped me relax my mind in between focusing on orienteering.

Keep it up, man. I'm watching and encouraged by what I see.
