Any idea what the bloated feeling could be due to?
I was rushed coming out of the bathroom, so looking back on it there may have been a correlation. It didn't feel like a stomach problem though, just like everything inflated, like the opposite of a cramp. Overall slowed me down because I couldn't take as long of strides downhill as I typically would due to shortness of breath.
Okay, sounds a bit like you're getting into a rhythm there.
Will you be joining the team at the Hickory Run training camp?
I believe so, despite the fact that it's a home football meet. I see you're the course setter there, that'll be fun, but they might make me run orange or yellow or whatever they make the freshmen on the team run. Maybe we'll see if I can arrange a green or red down there...
I think we've got you down to run the advanced trainings, and orange for the Sunday race, but I'm sure we can bump you up to red.
I guess it may be a but overzealous to try to run red in eastern Pennsylvania when I've never run that terrain but I'd certainly be willing to. I guess I'd be fine with any course as long as it's not white or yellow.
Orange will have a few more challenging legs. And Hickory Run can be VERY challenging this time of year.
I guess it would be smartest to start out on something I know I can handle and demonstrate/build skills from there rather than wasting my first meet on something I may not be able to handle. Plus I've been out of the scene recently, so orange would make sense.
