Very good result. Well done. Some notable names behind you and also not that far ahead. Persuit is probably a good way to get more confidence at speed?
Prologue improvement will show your own technique is getting better. Persuit has more of a safety net in that you can use those around you. I guess this is better than first leg in a relay, because in that case you probably are not doing as much of the navigation. Here because you're with your "peers" you are forced to do more independent navigation.

Thanks Garry!

Pursuit is definitely a great way to get practice orienteering fast (though I guess normal intervals are to if I had someone to train with :p).

Technique still needs a lot of work in more technical terrain, but hopefully that will come with time.

I think that's the case with smaller groups further back, but I know a lot of the faster and bigger groups ahead ended up with 1/2 leading most of the way, and others just following and backing themselves in the sprint.. so definitely going to be some complaints about the format..
