you seem to have nailed a lot of controls in the latter part of the course that would have given me conniptions, which makes #4 more mysterious to me. Not being able to see what it looked like on the ground but an attitude that might have worked for me from the get-go might have been, 'I'll just run past all these rocky ridges until there aren't any left and that will be the right one'? I develop these desperation simplification strategies to compensate for my lack of focus and tendency to lose track of where I am:)

Yeah, in retrospect, I can think of lots of approaches that would have worked better than what I actually did! Those things seem so frustratingly obvious when people point them out to me. I need to do a better job of figuring it out while on the course! But generally I am happy to not have the spaghetti-like tracks I had on almost every course a few years ago. :-) (It still happens sometimes, but thankfully not as often.)
