That's why I don't "do" Forest orienteering. Very frustrating, and I'm probably too lazy to do the navigating properly.... and I'd fall over.... A Lot!

At least you weren't as bad as me....trying to avoid the grotty area...and ended up in even more brambles and bushes! But I don't actually think you or I are that bad in a forest. We don't train for this both physically and technically but most importantly we have no confidence in our ability in it so don't believe we can do it (which doesn't help us to start with). We've both done decently in the forest in the past and I think if we put our minds to it we could be half decent (ok not the best) but quite rightly now you are putting all your focus into what you are really really good at :). Don't beat yourself up.

I think you're right, thanks for the reminder. I know I can do better though and it's so annoying.
