Discussion: Race

Hi, I know that recently you suggested a western race for us but I didn't have time to answer then, and I can't find your message/comment now. Fortunately, you and I communicate in a number of ways but that makes it hard to narrow down where I saw your suggestion. :) Which race was it, again? Thanks!

Now I remember - it was Whistler Alpine Meadows! I still don't remember where you wrote about it though. This year it's the same day as my university class reunion but maybe another year. Sounds great!

I sent you a text about it:) Yes, Whistler one. I am thinking of doing it next year.
Another great option is Selkirk Trans Alpine race based in Revy. Andy Reed did it this year and raved about it. Multi-day race, options for 5 or 3 days, solo or in a team.
It's not cheap though....

Of course! I was looking in comments on different Attackpoint logs, on Facebook and in my emails but I forgot the texts. :) It looks like a good one, especially if Wilderness Traverse is able to move its date next year. I've also heard good things about Trans Selkirks although I thought I'd checked the cut-offs and they looked tight for me. I'd have to look again. It would be great to get out west, which was this summer's plan.
