Wow, that's so cool! Are these first time events? I'd love to hear how they turn out, in terms of attendance, etc... There's been some chatter of organizing something similar in the mid-Atlantic/northeast.

Yes they are both first-time events. I'm super interested with how they go as well.

My conversation with the trail run director was so interesting, we both get a lot of questions from beginners that we don't contemplate on a regular basis. So it is sometimes hard to know what/how to present topics that appeal to beginners but hit the sweet spot of information, and avoiding info overload. And keep things fun.
