Sandy, the two things you need for an endurance event are physical training and mental toughness, and you check both boxes. You're basically in the tapering phase now and that plays games with your head. My recommendation, FWIW, is some easy walking or hiking to dissipate energy and calm your nerves, instead of last-minute cramming that puts you at risk of injury. (Cramming is always a temptation just when you should be easing off.) And yoga! Great for the relaxation benefits, with the added bonus of core strength and flexibility. This is exciting and you did a great job of preparation!

Sandy--you got this in the bag. No doubt whatsoever!

Maryann is 100% right on all of this. It goes without saying, but you are tough and you are prepared. Enjoy the work you've put in and get ready for an experience of a lifetime!

I expect you have done a lot more preparation than others who will be on the trip. Treat it as an adventure and let the chips fall where they may. I think you'll be fine.

So exciting! I know exactly how you feel. Epic adventure awaits! Enjoy every moment, you’re going to do great, and take lots of pictures for us to see.

Thanks guys. The pep talk really helps. I kinda pushed it today a little but am planning to back off now. Maybe.
