You survived!!! Great effort - you probably burned tons of calories with the added stress. Nice job getting home in one piece!
It was quite bouldery for a lot of it! I had to go to the ol hands on the knees and walk fast approach for those bits because I was surprisingly tired from the days before.
Sorry to hear you were in such a rush for it because the view up top is really spectacular. Perhaps you'll be able to make more trips up in the near future with more time.
As far as my time, I was moving pretty well for most of it but I think I could still potentially take off another 1:30-1:45. Supposing I really went after it. I think Señor Jornet could probably do 10 or just under it, which is crazy to think about.
@Ann - we should go do the hike together some time!
@Greg - I'm sure you were flying down the Blue Dot trail.
I actually took the Blue Dot pretty slowly. But I am looking forward to going after it on that downhill. I might want some metal studs for it though.
Pretty good time estimating at the 2-3x. From my calculations, you were pretty much exactly at 3x.
On the first part of this post, congratulations and thank you.
I agree with Eric. I forgot to add my thank-you. But that was a really nice thing to read.
