yeah, extended periods of standing around is one of the most painful things for pf sufferers, at least in my experience. Far worse than running or even walking. When I can't bring a chair I can often get a bit of relief by occasionally propping my forefoot up against a tree or post or curb or car tire or whatever I can find and doing some calf/achilles stretching. I even do this when pumping gas!
Thanks for helping out at the Youth Series!!! Hopefully some of these kids and families will like it enough to come back and grow the sport. But sorry to hear that it was too much for your foot.
