Terrible news. I had a chance to ski with her at Silver Star last December. Great fun as forever. Bless her.

Very sad news. Lot of good laughs at Yellow Pines. She was a treasure.

I think an aneurysm is similar to a stroke. Which can happen to any of us at any time. I wonder if she had any advance warning, such as slurred speech, headaches or weakness.

You seemed to have a pretty good friendship with Marie Catherine; you were both interested in a lot of the same things. I'm sure her passing is especially hard for you. My condolences.

Yep I have been bummed out since I heard she passed. She was in Vermont at the Ski Orienteering Champs, by surprise. It was always great to see her and she was always funny. Sadly going to be missed in the Orienteering community and a bunch of others.

How many years ago did you meet her? At the 1000-day wasn't it?

Very sad news! The few times i met her were filled with laughter, and interesting conversations ("how to get rid of a bunion without operation", etc.) . We will miss her!
