Haven't had any trouble so far this spring in Melbourne with magpies, either the birds or the football supporters (who have been uncommonly gracious in defeat, probably because most of them never expected to be anywhere near a Grand Final this year).

Got swooped on the Riesling Trail near Sevenhill, a pair eyed me off had a go then went after Nicole who was 20m behind me while I made my escape. Always good to have decoy!

The netballer's names kind of reminds me of the Aus women's cricket T20 team with an Alyssa, Elyse, Ellyse and Delissa.

Paddy got swooped about 9-10 times on his balance bike in Belair on Friday before I could get to him. The vicious bird wasn’t even landing between swoops - just wheeling around in the air! Poor P was terrified! Then it came after Mia further down the track when I thought we were out of its territory. Both kids were wearing helmets, which is probably why the maggie took offence.
