Yes - put your route up! Can't believe how much further you ran.....

I see your route now! That explains a lot.... I doubt many would agree with that route to no 8. Unfairly, the forest (white) was actually reasonably OK from the point you headed north down the valley on your long lonely sojourn.

You & Martin both missed no 8, but Hollie Orr towed me into it & she (being an international elite) found it immediately. Happy days for me, just behind her.

Kim also went round to #8 (I left #7 a few seconds after her and passed her on the way, before missing the control by heading in too early, and then passing her again on way to #9). Route round to #10 is inexplicable as I had a bearing set but just headed round the paths instead. If I had managed to do 500m less I would have been 49 mins. Food for thought for 2019 as I have no goals yet for next year (except Scottish 6 days as we are there anyway!).

Well, luckily for me I go up to M55 next year, so if you do make a triumphant return, I will be safely away from you, with only Clive, Quentin, Charlie, Tim Tett & the rest to worry about! :-)

Did you see/catch up with Undy on Sunday?
