It's an exercise in civics, I suppose.
Hopes and prayers that it works.
I'm optimistic. His opponent, Laura Kelly, seems to be quite a good candidate. She also earned points with me when she came to the KU Performance Audit class I co-teach.
If she is getting so granular as to come to a KU Performance Audit class co-taught by Spike, then she is leaving no stone unturned. I wish I could vote for her, but I can't. That would be voter fraud, and how ironic that would be.
Instead, I will be eager to see the election results in 2 nights, and hope to see that she wins. If she does, I will celebrate with a proper KU Performance Audit class pizza, as yet undefined. Though it will incorporate fresh basil, for sure.
