Don't know how it compared to where you were, but here the wind was so strong that even the idea of going out on foot didn't seem appealing.

Sounds like you had it a fair bit worse. I don't think it was any stronger than about 20 mph, maybe gusts to 25, while I was out. And no branches/trees of any significance coming down. So I didn't feel even slightly worried.

We're had some road closures, and something fell and smashed into my windshield in a startling way. One limb down in my yard, but that tree drops limbs all the time anyway.
