I go up to M55 in 2019, & was wondering about getting one.

Martin W. literally fell past a control at CSC waving his hand at it, whilst gubbins here had to stop, dib, then start again. By the time I got down the hill, Martin had gone. And i entered super-faffer mode.

I reckon on downhill controls, it's more like 4-5 seconds per control. Where can I get one cheaply?

Well done on MDOC urban. You've silently become a super-fit danger man again. Who noticed? Who knew?

You won't find a cheap SIAC anywhere Phil. You have to grit your teeth and fork out the £60ish quid they'll fleece you. I reckon an average of 2-3 seconds per control, so roughly a minute in total. I'd hate to loose a BOC/JK title for the sake of £60.

Simon is a lean machine. Fortunately he is still spurning 'proper' orienteering. I can't understand it myself....

There are too many "lean machines" around for comfort these days. Simon. Clive. Tim. Nigel B. You.

Richard Parkin.

I will probably fork out for the SIAC......
