Discussion: How much snow do you have??

There’s just a centimetre or two on the trails down low in the valley, around town, but up higher in the mountains it is pretty good. There was probably only about 70 cm up where we were skiing (some spots we were skiing probably had up to 100 cm, while others were 40 cm, depending on how some of the snow had settled in some areas). There is a good supportive layer near the ground that keeps you from punching through and scraping your skis, and then there was about 30 cm of nice loose snow on top of that, so it skied really well.
