Always gets one a bit too big. Probably because you choose the perfect tree from too far away. At least that’s what I always did taking my little brother out to the woods.

It was. We started when I was 10 and he was 3. One year I had to cut it 2 feet shorter part way home because we weren’t going to make it. I still had to shorten it more to get it in the living room.

Bash:
I had to do a little of both. First I needed to get it into the van and then it took 3 tries before I got it short enough to fit under the ceiling. Then it needed a little trimming to look less cylindrical - although it is still pretty cylindrical since I need a lot of branches to hold all the ornaments I've gathered over the years (today's project).

I think I’d have to decorate the big spruce in the front yard to use all of our ornaments.
