...do you have a lot of experience in the Valley? It's my happy place. One of them anyway... :)
I've run or hiked most of the canyons to the top, in the Sangres as far south as Crestone, but haven't peaked any of the 14'ers in that group yet.

been there a couple of times, always a happy place. Did a nice loop hike that includes a stretch where it looks like you need to break out technical climbing stuff, but there is a little ledge you can walk on - apparently good preparation for some of the 14er routes. And Challenger Pt. i think, where it was foggy, and I let my temp trail buddy bag another of his to-do list 14'ers the few hundred feet from the top. Or another time, when this guy was doing a difficult hike of the range carrying gallon jugs of water in his hands to make sure he drank enough, and beamed in approval when I said I was just going to bask in the sun on the other side of the valley.
