Yeah I would have liked to get down there but it was too much hassle. Will see how the rest of the trip pans out but this was probably my best opportunity. We never managed to make it to a parkrun while in Europe either but that was due to timing of events more than anything.

RMAF B__________. Oops, state secret, I'll be on an ASIS list now (although I think I already am, having imported A Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy (by one K Marx) from the English language bookshop in Moscow in 1979. Held up at Perth airport, bags and strip-searched.

It's no real secret, they do a three month rolling rotation of personnel all year round (since 1987 now). Being reservists though, we actually get a choice whether we want to come here.

Seems one of the two parkruns in Malaysia is holding an event tomorrow so I could still squeeze one in if I was really committed. Need to be back here at 1930 tomorrow though.
