Yeah Abi and I had the same issue - thought we'd crossed at the path and then nothing made sense. Though we found 24 quickly enough.

I saw you also went left on 26 but I reckon right might have been quicker as we ended up coming back to the big path anyway.

I actually rather enjoyed it despite the occasional bit of grot, and Abi's sometimes rather shaky nav :-) Would love to know what time I could have done though, it's really hard to tell.

I went left to avoid the climb as my legs were battered by that point.

I think you would have got about 1.22.15 at best:-)

You did seem to be tearing round that first half !

We'll have to settle that argument at the next race. Am thinking Ashridge definitely, plus maybe Penn Wood and Headley (but maybe not.)

I paid for it with bad decisions in the 2nd half.

I’ll be doing those 3 as Ashridge is lovely at this time of year but Headly just for the map.
