I didn't really lose much time at all (a minute at no 8, was too high), so 50 mins is good, IMO. However, I am also an M55 now!!!! :-)

Be good to see your splits, but that's not possible! It was a really good day out.

Routes are interesting here. I maintain that my route to no 2 was fine. John Simmons goes from being not far behind to miles behind by persisting with that enormous hill...

Have just downloaded my Si Card and looked at the splits. Needless to say you beat me on every control ( not counting 8 ) , but fyi, the one I got closest to you on was no 2 ( 9:24 vs your 9:08). I went pretty straight - similar to John Simmons, but without the miss at the end. So pretty sure you lost a bit by wimping out on the hill. Tho' of course with your back maybe the round route suited you more.

Oooh interesting ..... OK, I hadn't quite clocked John missing at the end of leg 2. I was puffing away so it was more about my lack of fitness (than bad back) up a long hill that made me wimp out!

Just realised / remembered you're M60, of course, so I take back my earlier remark ;-)
