I had been sneaking up on it, adding about half a minute every couple days, but the next stop was 9 minutes and I decided it would be silly to bail out and have to do a second 1 minute plank. I was confident a 10 was in range after I broke 7 minutes. I was planning to keep the 10 minutes a day for the month - waiting for a couple of friends with injuries to join the challenge.
