Sounds good. The plethora of eye drops and antibiotic mirrors the experience of a friend of mine for whom all went smoothly. 17 is a good number -- it's where I've been for quite awhile and doc says that's good.
The woman's inquiry about your "daughter" seems reasonable. :)
17 is a good number. Don’t know what the units are either that was my number in both eyes at my recent visit. For the past year I have been battling Glaucoma, indicated by high pressure determined by the puff device or a newer scheme using a light unit. My numbers have been in the 20s with some in the low 30s. To me just numbers, but they were worried. Gave drops and sent me to a specialist who gave me another drop. So one kind is for L morning and night; the other is both at night. Pricey but better than the alternative. Guess the next step would be to drill small holes in the eyeball to drain the internal fluids.
I think he drained some from mine. He said it was pretty swollen when I presented for surgery.
Pricey but better than the alternative.
I thought the alternative was smoking weed...
The alternative is blindness.
Yes, the pressure over 20 is worrisome as it eventually damages the eye nerve. Normal is under 20.
Uff, all these eye problems, the one kind of glaucoma is quite bad, but they keep improving the treatments as I hear.
Just had (still have) an issue with my eyes and had to take cortisone cream which raised my eye pressure to 25 and on a control, the ophthalmologue immediately gave me a pill and drops to be back after 2 days when it had dropped to 14. Big relief. But I still have more treatment to my eye.
Thumbs up for healing and good treatment, George!
Glad to hear that things are looking up!
